About us

What This Site Is

Tale Law Blog is an independent publication that provides general legal information on personal injury, medical malpractice, workers’ compensation, elder law, product liability, and related areas of civil law. Our goal is to help readers understand their situations well enough to ask better questions, evaluate whether they may have a claim worth pursuing, and engage more productively with licensed attorneys in their own jurisdictions.

We are a legal information resource. We are not a law firm, we do not offer legal representation, and nothing published on this site should be understood as legal advice for any specific person or situation.

Who We Are

Tale Law Blog is produced by an editorial team with backgrounds in legal writing, publishing, and content research. We are not practicing attorneys. Where a specific legal question requires professional judgment — and in most cases it does — we direct readers to consult a licensed attorney in the relevant jurisdiction.

Articles are written and reviewed by our editorial team using established legal references, publicly available statutes and case law, guidance from state and federal bar associations, and published materials from practicing attorneys and legal academics. Where articles reference legal doctrines, procedures, or standards, those references reflect general principles of U.S. civil law, which may vary substantially by state.

How We Approach Legal Content

Legal topics affect real decisions that real people make about their health, finances, families, and futures. We take that seriously. Our editorial practices are described in detail on our Editorial Policy page, but in short:

  • We aim for accuracy, not persuasion. Articles describe how legal concepts generally work, not how any specific case should be handled.
  • We distinguish clearly between general legal information and advice requiring professional judgment.
  • We update articles when we become aware of factual errors or significant changes in the legal landscape.
  • We welcome corrections from readers, attorneys, and subject-matter experts. See our Contact page.

Why We Published This Site

Most people who experience a serious injury, medical error, or workplace accident have little framework for understanding their legal situation. They may not know whether they have a claim, what a claim would involve, what to look for in an attorney, or what questions to ask. Well-written, accessible legal information helps people navigate that initial uncertainty more intelligently — and recognize when they do need professional help.

Tale Law Blog exists to fill part of that gap, responsibly and with appropriate humility about what a general-information site can and cannot do.

What This Site Is Not

  • Not legal advice. Reading this site does not create an attorney-client relationship. Our content cannot account for the specific facts of your situation, the law of your jurisdiction, or the procedural posture of any claim you may have.
  • Not a referral service. We do not refer cases to attorneys, and we receive no compensation for directing readers to any law firm or legal service.
  • Not a substitute for consulting an attorney. If you believe you may have a legal claim, or if you are facing any legal situation with meaningful financial or personal stakes, consult a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction.
